1. Scope
Medical Intelligence Co., Ltd. (“MedInt”, “we”) protects personal data in line with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA). This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal data of visitors to medint.co.th and of people who contact us through the channels listed on this site.
It does not cover patient data in the hospital information systems we implement or support. The hospital is the data controller for that data, and we process it only under our contract and the hospital’s instructions.
2. Data we collect
- Website usage data such as pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, approximate country or city, and referral source. This is collected by Google Analytics only if you click “Accept”.
- Data you send us when you call or email us, such as your name, email, phone number, organisation and the details you provide.
- Job applicant data such as your résumé, education and work history, and contact details.
This site has no forms and no user accounts, and it does not use advertising cookies.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Analysing usage to improve the site (consent).
- Answering enquiries, preparing quotations, arranging demos and providing requested services (pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest).
- Assessing job applications (pre-contractual steps).
- Complying with law or orders from authorities (legal obligation).
4. Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga) to measure traffic. They are set only after you click “Accept”. If you click “Decline”, they are not set.
Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage key mi-consent) so we do not ask again, and we ask again after 12 months. You can change your choice anytime with the button below or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
5. Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers we need: Google LLC (Google Analytics), our web host and our email provider. We also share it with authorities when the law requires.
Google Analytics data may be processed on servers outside Thailand, where Google applies internationally recognised safeguards.
6. Retention
- Google Analytics data: up to 14 months, per our Google Analytics settings.
- Emails and contact details: for as long as we are in contact and up to 3 years after the last contact, unless a contract or law requires longer.
- Unsuccessful job applications: up to 1 year.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy;
- have it corrected;
- have it deleted, destroyed or anonymised;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing done before withdrawal;
- complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to staff who need it.
